BAH HAHAHAHHA hahaha...haha.....ha............ha....huh.....hmmm?

That's how July felt. Fun, but confusing.
  1. I received more hours at work! I was working for about 3 to 4 hours every Monday, but now it's more like 5 on Monday, and 3-4 on Tuesday and Friday. I was very happy about that. The only problem was that I had to learn googles of information that came with the new hours. I think I've got most of it down.....if my Morgan friend is sitting right behind me......hmmm?
  2. I'm an ADULT!!!!! My birthday was July 18th (18 on the 18th! my super birthday, Man!!) and I'm now a legal adult, the last of my friend group (even though I should have been the first out of my friends to be an adult....just kidding, it's better this way). It's fun being older, but I feel a lot more responsibility. I haven't really even changed my life yet. I simply turned 18. I've decided the 18th birthday is the only birthday (well, the only birthday I've had so far) where I can honestly say I feel different than I did when I was 17 the day before. That confused me a little, but it's true. I feel older, and like I need to be tough now. We'll see how THAT works. HA!
  3. I saw a lot of people I hadn't seen since we graduated at a common friend's birthday part up the canyon and I enjoyed seeing most of them, but I'm glad it was only for a little bit. I wasn't really in their friend group and so it was interesting see a lot of them. We were all very friendly and I had fun! But everyone is starting to grow up and move around. It sort of felt like a last HURRAH! for me. Thankfully though, I met up with a few people I've missed very much and now we've scheduled a shopping trip this week. I'm extremely excited. Finding and hanging out with old friends is SO fun.
  4. I went to St. George on July 5th, exciting day!! :) I went with two friends, Whitney and Carli. We ate junk food and more junk food, then went to The Pizza Factory, and we watched movies and swam, I hardly got sunburned, we went to the park where I got spun around...around...around...around...around...around...around.........and around, we did a 500 piece puzzle, we watched some more movies, we practically wrote the talk I would give in church the next Sunday about integrity and I must say, we got some pretty mean ideas on that paper! We played horse, I lost, we played horse some more, I lost some more, we played volleyball, I don't know my own strength, Whitney and Carli wrestled in the grass, fought over the volleyball, a sophomore boy was brave enough to ask if we wanted a fourth player in volleyball (we let him of course), we went swimming some more, Whitney and Carli tried diving into the pool, they got some pretty good dives in, the last day we went swimming they called me Mom because I didn't get in the pool, I was wearing jean shorts and a t-shirt, had my sunglasses and was reading a book/carrying around the sunscreen and cameras, we went shopping where I got my jean shorts, a little boy had a crush on Carli, we got locked out of our apartment near the beginning of the trip because of one of the little children, went home at the end of the trip on Friday night, and then I gave my talk on Sunday!! All in all it was a fun trip. Here are a few pictures. The order they're in is not the order in which they happened.

  5. And then this weekend I went to my Julia's cabin with Morgan, Mabel, and Dale. We had a blast despite the fact that when we were two minutes away from the cabin we hit a NASTY rock that tore a hole in the oil tank. We were lucky enough to make it to the cabin, but the car wasn't turned on again after that. Julia's father graciously came up and towed the car out of the mountains. Morgan and Julia were in Morgan's car, steering it, and it was slightly frightening because at times going down hill Morgan would have to put on her brakes but everything moved so quickly that sometimes the rope would get too tight and jerk both cars. We eventually got to a church parking lot where AAA came and towed it through Parley's canyon (lots of steep ups and downs.....Julia's father's car would have had a lot of trouble pulling a car through that) and back to Salt Lake. Hopefully everything will be okay. The actual cabin adventure was fun other than the fact that my back severely sunburned and I now have to sleep on my stomach for the next week. We played in the river and went river walking. I got down to the foot bridge without falling and then when we were playing around I feel down twice!! Although, I don't think I could beat Morgan falling right at the end of the walk down. She was just standing there and then all of a sudden....PLOP! We were all laughing and then when asked if she was all right she said, "It was a comfortable fall." Haha. :)
  6. I've spent a lot of time with my wonderful friends and have been so happy! I love them all and the great times we've had this month. 3 1/2 weeks until college!! I say, party hard until then. :)
So that was July!
