Writer's Block

I like blogging. In fact, I love it. But as of late I've been at a loss as to what to grace your eyes with. I shall be more observant, more exciting in my life. Hopefully this will bring me to write a little more. Maybe not. We shall have our patience tested, shan't we?

So.....I had the chance to retake the Calculus test I didn't do so hot on. Before I tell you the out come I must inform you that there is this rule that says if you retake a Calculus test the highest score you can get is 70%. Anything below 70% stays at that score, but anything above 70% goes down to a 70%. So, I'm taking the test with a nervous mindset, but I studied a little bit before hand and I was making sure to have an answer that made some kind of sense before filling in a bubble. If I do the problem and don't get an answer that was a choice (this test was all multiple choice as opposed to 1/2 multiple choice, 1/2 free response on the original test) I then work backward with all the given answers. One of the problems wasn't working out forward or backward so I chose the answer that looked the most similar to an answer I got. ANYWAY! A remedy for being tossed among the billows of life

Today!  Ah ha! My car : I should take care of it, right?  And since I'm handing it off to Lydia soon it should probably be in tip top shape when she gets it.  I took it to the auto shop today just to have them check it out and see if there was anything they needed to fix.  Initially the mechanic said a diagnostic test would be $20, and then anything they find will be added to that, but they'd let me know before they did anything. "Okay! Sounds good!" and I left my baby with them. Then they call me back a bit later and tell me my clutch is having issues, but it's still drivable.  Replacing it would cost about $600.  I already knew that though, so I just said not to do anything with that.  And then they mentioned something else, but the mechanic said, "If I were you, I'd just drive the heck out of it until it breaks and then replace the broken parts or get a new car." I teach piano to two little girls in my ward. Today was the weekly lesson and with this lesson I learned even more about their contrasting personalities. The first one is as sweet as a little girl can get. She talks to me, but still listens. She needs me to explain things but tries to understand them even if it's strange. She takes a little longer to get a hang of some of the concepts and notes whereas her sister, if she tries, understands them within three minutes. The sister has a much more fiery personality. From what I can gather and how she acts, she hates piano lessons. Near the beginning she was understanding what I asked her to learn with little difficulty because she put effort into it, but now she's growing tired of putting in that needed effort. She's not having much fun anymore which makes my job harder because now I need to put the fun into it that she's not putting into it.
