O the joys of life!
Mi hermana has left on her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will be going to Singapore and speaking Malay! It's all very exciting. :) Her service to the Lord for 18 months will be a tremendous blessing to our family, to her life forever onward, and to all those who come in contact with her during her service. She is a wonderful example of Christ-like love and understanding. I'm not putting her on a pedestal, but I am acknowledging that she is ready to serve the Lord and has prepared wonderfully. When dropping her off today, we had almost my entire family (Georgia and Ruby had to stay in school), by Aunt Debra and her little baby Truman, my Uncle Joe, Laurel's friend Janice, and her honey as well, Sterling. We all gave her hugs, took pictures with her, and were very calm and ready for what was coming in a few short moments. Once we dropped her off, it felt like nothing had changed.
