Changed it!

Mechanical Engineering is for sissies. ;) I want to research and understand families. Their inner workings. Why they do certain things, which actions are more likely to produce certain outcomes, how families interacts changes the behavior of an individual, etc. In my Intro to Family Processes class during the first class I got extremely excited for what I was going to learn! And then I decided to take Intro to the School of Family Life (1 measly credit) and when our teacher (who happens to be the Department Chair) was talking, I got even more excited. I think I've finally settled into something I'll really enjoy. I was close the first time (and only time) I declared my major as Family and Consumer Science Education, but that was more for becoming a teacher. With the Marriage, Family, and Human Development major (I'm not sure what it's called....oops. I still have a little research to do. :) ), I would be immersed in learning all about families and how people develop in them and how a husband and wife have effects on each other and their children! So exciting. :D

  1. Wow, it's like me 20 years ago. I agree, MFHD was an incredible degree to get. I'd recommend to anyone.

  2. Although I don't know what kind of job you'll get with it unless you get a masters and probably a PhD too.

Wow. You sure can go through 'em. You kind of remind me of me sometimes ;)
