That's how I feel about teaching piano for the past 5 or 6 months. I started out doing it because I thought it would be a good way to get a little extra cash. I wasn't too excited about it and I wasn't really wanting to all that much. But as my students and I had fun times, frustrating times, smiles, tears, I feel in love with teaching. My piano teacher was saying how she loves teaching so much during one of my lessons with her and I was confused as to why anyone would love teaching piano.....but here I am, not wanting to leave my students. I don't want to give them to somebody else to teach. I know the way they learn, what works for them, and how they pay attention better than any other piano teacher out there. I feel selfish, but I don't want another teacher to gain their trust or smiles. Maybe I can drive up to Salt Lake on Saturdays.....just kidding. If only that could really happen.
